Blog fever is upon me again! Like peanut butter and jelly, I can now harmonize my facebook page to my blog and call myself "social network savvy!" Not sure if that is a compliment...
Summer surrounds us and we love its embrace! Seasons all have their merits, but this summer I am singing the praises of weather, location, and company!
Pi and Ev greatly enjoy school-based enrichment opportunities. Camp fulfills Piper's every whim, and she is a child with definite ideas on how summer mornings should be spent. Evan drops her off and picks her up with an apparent longing for his turn to be dropped off and picked up from school. This winter he will attend such a wonderland known for now as "Piper's School," and the coveted title will shift to "our school."
Beaches, Lakes, River, Creeks, and Pools keep us entertained, cool, active, and continually water logged. Managing blood sugars when children are not hungry and so very busy is tricky but the joy of all summer's gifts buffers the impending doom of any challenges at hand.
Friends, BBQ's, and festivals are reasons to celebrate weekly and never to we tire of romping with fellow vacation enthusiasts!

We'd be so excited to have you help our cause! This is our first year as a family team and the more turnout, the more fun for all involved!
Mostly, the day will be about support for Piper, Evan and other children in their fight against Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. Walking around Crissy Field October 17th, 2009 dressed in pirate garb, and wearin' cool t-shits with friends and family is one heck of a good time while helping bring the Juvenile Diabetes Reasearch Foundation the loot and booty they need to uncover the real buried treasure known as a CURE!
Post-walk there is "Walktoberfest" across the street at the Presedio and mateys swilling good glub just plain rocks.
